S.E.L.F. TAROT: Simple, Easy, Lighthearted and Fun!
Learn an ancient system of divination using Tarot cards as a tool to jump start your intuition, entertain your friends and family, tap into your higher consciousness for guidance and wisdom, and/or start a lucrative business as a Tarot reader.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
Whether you believe you are psychic or not, this course will convince you of your innate abilities to "read" situations you encounter in life. Simply by studying the universal symbols, colors, numbers, signs and figures depicted on the cards, your intuition will be working overtime bringing you messages from the subconscious.
Where does this intuition come from? According to cognitive neuroscientists, we are conscious of only about 5 percent of our cognitive activity, so most of our decisions, actions, emotions, and behavior depends on the 95 percent of brain activity that goes on beyond our conscious awareness. Understanding the mind (brain) is the next great unexplored frontier. Malcolm Gladwell author of the popular new book, Blink, describes the first two seconds of looking as the decisive glance that knows in an instant. That's what Intuitive Tarot reading is all about, knowing the answer immediately, without knowing why you know.
As you delve into the history of the Tarot and bring it into a present day context, your higher mind will begin to make sense out of this seemingly complex 78-card, five-suit system of cartomancy. If you have ever tried to use a Tarot deck, you may have been overwhelmed with the task of memorization required before beginning the fun part of actually doing a reading.
The S.E.L.F. Tarot method bypasses the tedious memorization task, and relies on your own intuitive understanding of each card. It encourages you to jump right in and explore the messages you receive immediately, without waiting until that magic day when you know it all. You already know it all. You just don't know that you know. With this method, your confidence will build and your intuitive abilities will expand. More synchronous events will seem to occur daily. That's when the magic occurs.
Students successfully completing this course will be eligible to apply for the level of Certified Tarot Apprentice from The Tarot Certification Board of America.

Penny Stewart is a ULC Minister, Spiritual Life Coach, member of The American Tarot Association, and a Certified Professional Tarot Reader. Penny, an enthusiastic student of Tarot, has been counseling and guiding souls on their path to enlightenment for many moons. She insists you have FUN while learning.
For several years, she organized classes in metaphysics and related subjects through the Enlightened Dove Education Network in Azusa Canyon. Various groups of like-minded individuals gathered periodically for retreats and workshops covering topics ranging from Astrology to Zen meditation.
Her many skills include designing web sites for herself and others, including The Pink Gypsy, www.pinkgypsy.com, where she has been selling belly dance videos and costumes for more than10 years. Her website was featured in an article which appeared in Costco Magazine, and details of her business expertise were highlighted in the book "The Best Home Businesses For People 50+," by Paul and Sarah Edwards.
